Installing the RTDS hard disk drive

In order to use the Remote Test and Diagnosis System (RTDS) on the server, you
must install the optional RTDS hard disk drive which contains the RTDS. The
RTDS hard disk has an IDE interface.
The RTDS hard disk drive can be mounted in the server in a hard disk drive carrier
(see "Installing or removing the hard disk
and mounted in a bay for accessible drives by a service technician.
You may also retro-install the RTDS software on an IDE hard disk. Refer
