Calibrating

DC Attenuation/Offset Calibration Using N7022A Main Cable

Turn on the oscilloscope and connect the N7020A probe with the N7022A main
cable attached to one of the oscilloscope's input channels.

Allow the oscilloscope and probe to warm up for 20 minutes.

If the oscilloscope needs calibration, perform a user calibration before the probe
calibration. On the oscilloscope, click Utilities > Calibration.

Connect the output of the N7022A main cable to the oscilloscope's rear-panel
AUX OUT BNC connector as shown in the following picture. You'll need a BNC (m)
to SMA (f) adapter.

On the oscilloscope, click Setup > Probes.

In the Probe Calibration dialog box, select the tab representing the channel that
has the probe attached.

In the dialog box, select the type of calibration. Click Start and follow the
instructions shown on the oscilloscope.
