The Standard Light Curtain contains two lightposts mounted at the front of the

object disrupts the light beams, the safety interlock circuit is tripped and the
motion of the Bravo head stops.
The following figure and table provide details on the Standard Light Curtain

Description
The two lightposts, which mount on each end of the Bravo base,
contain the transmitter and receiver that project the light beams, detect
disruptions in the beam, and transmit signals to the safety interlock
circuit.
A clear plastic shield, which attaches to the two lightposts, prevents
access at the front between the top of the light shield and the Bravo
top.
A clear plastic shield, which attaches to the two lightposts, prevents
access at the front between the bottom of the light shield and top of
the Bravo deck.
After the light beams are aligned, the Standard Light Curtain generates
an invisible light shield that spans the area between the two lightposts
across the front of the Bravo Platform.
