Check fuses inside the amplifier (amplifier PCB)
Check the connections to the amplifier PCB
Logs the ground short of an amplifier in a Power Amplifier
Number of the amplifier which malfunctioned
Check if the 100V output of the amplifiers makes contact to the
mechanical earth for example to the 19" housing or rack.
Exchange the 100V output connector from 1amplifier with another
amplifier. If the problem moves to the other amplifier than at that
connector the fault can be found.
(See also chapter 11 Amplifier ground short test)
Logs overheating (>85ºC) of an amplifier in a Power Amplifier
Number of the amplifier which malfunctioned
Not available on 8x60W booster
Check if the ambient temperature isn't over 55ºC.
Check if the forced rack cooling is functioning correct. (if used)
Check if the Fans inside the booster are turning.
In dusty areas it might be needed that the booster needs to be
cleaned. With an air compressor dust can be removed from the
amplification PCB. (Make sure the air pressure isn't to high)
