If the control panel indicates a fire alarm, you can do the following:
1.
To silence the panel sounder, press the

ALARM SILENCED
The control panel sends an Alarm Silenced message to the History buffer and
installed printers, terminal mode LCD-80s, and CRT-2s. Figure 8 shows a sample
Alarm Silenced message.

Check the Alarm message for the location and type of trouble.
3.
Correct the condition causing the alarm.
4.
When you finish correcting the alarm condition, press the
return the control panel to normal operation (indicated by the "All Systems
Normal" message). The control panel sends an "All Systems Normal" message to
the LCD display, History buffer, and installed printers, terminal mode LCD-80s,
and CRT-2s.

The Type Code that displays in the Alarm message indicates the function of the point
that initiates the fire alarm. For example, a monitor module with a
Code means that the monitor module connects to a manual pull station. Table 6 contains
a list of the Type Codes that can appear in an alarm message.
