Mechanical I nterlocks ("Wa l king Beam")
For Stationary B reakers
Mechanical interlocks are mechanical devices u sed to
prevent two adjacent circuit breakers from both being in
the "ON" or closed position at the same t1me. The Interlock
permits both breakers to be in the "OFF" position or open
position while a l lowing either or both to be cha rged.

Breakers Substructures
Su bstructures a re availa ble for both stan dard and Hi-Break®
Power Break® I I breakers. H oles a re provided for bolting on
a shelf or supports. H oles a re a lso provided in the primary
stabs for bolting to b usbars or terminal l ugs. A special speed
wrench-style racki ng tool is provided for racking a breaker in
and out of the su bstructure.
