MicroVersaTrip Plus™ and PM ™Trip Units
Rating Plugs
The same interchangeable rating plugs are u sed in a l l of the
MicroVersaTrip Plus™ and MicroVersaTrip PM™ trip un its
across the entire Power Break® I I breaker product l i ne. Rating
plugs a re the key devices that establish the cu rrent rating of
the breaker. They provide an essential scaling function for the
unit's m icroprocessor. and ensure maximum accu racy. They
a lso provide an external jack for connection to an external
battery pack.
Rating plugs h ave rejection features that a l low them to be
inserted only with breakers containing the correct cu rrent
sensors. Rating plugs for the enhanced MicroVersaTrip Plus
and M icrosVersaTrip PM trip u n its cannot be u se with Spectra
RMS™ molded case circuit breakers, but a re compati ble with
Power Break and Type AKR breakers with M icroVersaTrip Plus
and MicroVersaTrip PM trip units. See Ta ble 23.1
