WHY?
HOW?
EXAMPLE
www.SoftBankRobotics.com
When Pepper is having trouble understanding
a verbal conversation, develop a "not understood"
strategy to help users.
Make sure, to have an "e:Dialog/NotUnderstood" for all questions
in the dialogue. When a "not understood" event happens, make
Pepper repeat the question. If Pepper still doesn't understand,
don't loop. Use an "e:Dialog/NotUnderstood2" to ask the user to
make a choice on the tablet.
For example, if Pepper says, "Do you want to play
a game or to see me dancing?"
User:
"blah blah blah"
Pepper:
"I didn't understand. Can you repeat that please?"
User:
"blah blah blah"
Pepper:
"I'm sorry I cannot hear you very well.
Please make a choice on my tablet."
