WARNUNG: Prüfen Sie dieses
Gerät vor jeder Anwendung auf seine
Funktions fähigkeit.

HINWEIS: Auffanggefäß für austretende
Spül üssigkeit bereithalten.
START/STOP-Taste Spülen oder Fußschalter so-
lange betätigen, bis das Schlauchsystem komplett
entlüftet (d. h. blasenfrei) ist (siehe Warnung Seite 6).
Der an der Balkenanzeige angezeigte Flow-
Wert muss mit der Sollwert-Vorgabe (Anzeige
übereinstimmen.
Zu usshahn am Instrument langsam schließen.
Sobald der an der Balkenanzeige angezeig-
te Druckwert die Sollwert-Vorgabe (Anzeige
überschreitet, muss die Rollenpumpe die Förde-
rung einstellen. Übersteigt der Istwert den Sollwert
für mehrere Sekunden, so ertönt ein akustisches
Warnsignal.
Absaugschlauch (Instrumentenschlauch) mit dem
Finger verschließen und prüfen, ob sich ein Vakuum
ausbildet. Der an der Istwert-Anzeige abzule-
sende Saugdruck muss mit der Sollwert-Vorgabe
(Anzeige ) übereinstimmen.

WARNUNG: Sollten deutliche Abwei-
chungen von diesen Ergebnissen auftreten
(> ±10%), so muss das Gerät vor weite-
rer Verwendung von einem autorisierten
Techniker überprüft werden.

WARNING: Test this equipment prior to
each surgical procedure to ensure that it
functions correctly.

NOTE: Have a collecting container ready to
catch irrigation liquid as it runs out.
Press the irrigation START/STOP button
the footswitch until all the air has been let out of
the tubing system (i.e. no bubbles) (see Warning,
page 6).
) The ow rate indicated on bargraph display
must agree with the ow-rate setpoint indicated on
display .
Gradually close the metering valve on the
instrument. As soon as the pressure indicated on
bargraph display rises above the limiting value

indicated on display , the reel pump should be
halted. If the actual value exceeds the set value for
a number of seconds there is an audible warning
signal.
Pinch off the suction line with your ngers and
check whether suction line underpressure is
formed. The suction line pressure indicated on
display must agree with the suction line pressure
setpoint indicated on display .

WARNING: If there are any substantial
deviations from these results (> ±10%), the
unit must be inspected by an authorized
technician before further use.
