6. 11 Sicherheitseinrichtungen

Der ENDOMAT n. HAMOU verfügt über folgende
Sicherheitseinrichtungen:
6. 11. 1 Selbstprüfung
Die Selbstprüfung wird bei jedem Einschalten des
Geräts durchgeführt. Folgende Komponenten
werden dabei geprüft:
• Interne Selbstprüfung der Elektronik
• Test der Schlaucherkennung
• Test der Druckmesskammererkennung
• Test des Drucksensors
Fällt einer der Tests negativ aus, so kann das
Gerät nicht gestartet werden. Das Gerät gibt
ca. 10 Sekunden lang einen pulsierenden Warnton
aus. Solange wie der Fehler besteht, blinkt die
Fehleranzeige.

HINWEIS: Um vor der Inbetriebnahme
das Schlauchset einlegen zu können, kann
die Selbst prüfung durch Betätigung des
Fuß schalters während des Einschaltens
umgangen werden.
Es muss sichergestellt sein, dass das Gerät min-
destens einmal pro Betriebstag eine Selbstprüfung
durchführt.
6. 11. 2 Test der Anzeigenelemente
Beim Einschalten des Geräts leuchten alle Anzei-
genelemente kurz auf. Der Anwender kann so die
Anzeige auf defekte Segmente prüfen.
6. 11. 3 Kontrolle des Spüldrucks
Sobald der Istwert des Spüldrucks den vor-
gegebenen Sollwert überschreitet, wird der Betrieb
eingestellt.
Hält die Abweichung für mehrere Sekunden an, so
ertönt ein akustisches Warnsignal.
Als zusätzliche Sicherheitsmaßnahme wurde in die
Druckmesskammer ein Überdruckventil integriert,
welches zusätzlich ein Überschreiten des maxima-
len Spüldrucks verhindert.

The HAMOU ENDOMAT is equipped with the
following safety features:
6. 11. 1 Self-Check
A self-check procedure is performed each time the
unit is switched on. The components checked are
as follows:
• internal self-check of the electronic circuitry
• tube detection test
• pressure measuring chamber detection test
• pressure sensor test
If the results of any of these tests are negative, it will
not be possible to start the unit. In this case the unit
will issue an intermittent warning sound for 10 sec-
onds. The error display will continue to ash until
the error is remedied.

NOTE: In order to insert the tube set before
putting the unit into operation, the self-check
can be bypassed by pressing the footswitch
during pow er up.
Make sure the unit performs a self-check proce-
dure at least once every day of operation.
6. 11. 2 Display element test
On switching on the instrument all the display
elements will light up. This is to enable the user to
check the display for any faulty segments.
6. 11. 3 Monitoring the irrigation pressure
Irrigation will be stopped as soon as the actual
pressure value exceeds the speci ed setpoint.
If the deviation lasts for more than several sec onds,
there will be an audible warning signal.
As an additional safety measure the pressure
measuring chamber was tted with an integrated
overpressure valve which prevents the maximum
irrigation pressure from being exceeded.
