D r u m C h a r g e
Drum charge is the process of charging the PC drum with static electricity before
laser exposure. This printer uses a brush charge method, rather than the corona
charge method, to charge the drum. In the brush charge method, there is no
generation of ozone as a result of corona discharge. This method also allows the
drum to be charged at a low voltage, because a direct electric load is applied to the
PC drum.
