If the Economy/Standby mode is externally specified, e.g. with a MATRIX.OP71
or a building control system, then bypass operation can be activated with the con-
trol panel. With activation of bypass operation, for an adjustable time X (see "Set
bypass time submenu" on page 57) the economy mode or standby operation is
bridged and the normal operation is activated (operating time extension).
NOTICE!
If the economy mode is activated, the setpoint values parameterized for the
economy mode are shown (see the "Economy mode submenu" on page 58 in
the Chapter 7.21.5).
This means that the setpoint displays switch from the normal controller param-
eters to the economy mode controller parameters. The displayed setpoint val-
ues of the economy mode can be changed analogous to the setpoint values of
the normal operation.
In the menu "Controller operating mode", the following menu items are available
for selection, depending on the unit's features.
The menu is preassigned with "automatic" as factory setting.
Explanation
The control system works with the setpoints for
the normal mode (day operation).
The control system works with the set setpoints
for the economy mode (night operation).
Switching between normal mode and economy
mode occurs according to the settings of the
clock timer (time programs).
The next switching moment takes preference
once. Further operation is performed in the pre-
set switching times. If the time program has acti-
vated the economy mode, normal operation can
be activated with the menu item "Preference".
This operation state remains enabled until the
next switching point for the economy mode.
