If you select the fan mode "level or speed xx%", you can see on the small "Ad-
ditional pages" icon that there are additional setting options.
•
Press the key "SET".
An additional window opens.
•
Use the navigator to select the new fan speed stage.
•
Press the "SET" button to save the set speed.
The menu setting "Plant\fan" alternatively appears to the menu "Fan mode", in
part in combination with a menu for the setpoint entry (see Chapter 7.9.1 to Chap-
ter 7.9.3). It appears whenever one of the following types of the fan controls se-
lected were at air handling units:·
– External fan speed setting e.g. by means of potentiometer with 0-10V signal
– Manual fan speed setting with control panel (also see Chapter 7.9.1 Menu set-
ting "Fan speed",
– Fan speed setting with duct pressure control (also see Chapter 7.9.2 Menu
setting "Supply-air duct pressure" and/or "Extract-air duct pressure"),
– Fan speed setting with volume flow control (also see chapter 7.9.3 Menu set-
ting "Supply-air volume flow" and/or "Extract-air volume flow")
The type of fan control can be changed by using the control panel or the
MATRIX.PC service software. See also the "Fan submenu" on page 71 in Chap-
ter 7.21.6 Air handling unit submenu.
Independent of the speed setting of the controller for the fan, you can switch the
air handling system on or off, and with it the fan, by using the "Plant/Fan" menu.
