The following are the software exception handling methods available for an MPU:
reboot—The MPU automatically reboots to recover from the error condition.
maintain—The MPU stays in the error condition so you can collect complete data, including error
messages, for diagnosis. In this approach, you must manually reboot the MPU.
In an IRF fabric, the software exception handling method applies to all member switches.
