The output shows that the current version and Auto-rollback are completely compatible and all LPUs
cannot be upgraded by installing a hotfix. You can upgrade the software version of the IRF fabric by
following steps for member switch-based ISSU upgrade.
# Upgrade the slave switch.
<IRF> system-view
[IRF] issu load file soft-version2.app chassis 2
This command will begin ISSU, and the specified board will reboot and be upgraded. Please
save the current running configuration first; otherwise, the configuration may be
lost.Continue? [Y/N]:y
# After the reboot of the slave switch, implement active and standby switchover.
[IRF] issu run switchover chassis 2
Master will reboot, switch the specified chassis to master. Continue? [Y/N]:y
# Accept the upgrade of the new master.
[IRF] issu accept chassis 2
# Upgrade the former master.
[IRF] issu commit chassis 1
The specified board will reboot and be upgraded. Continue? [Y/N]:y
The ISSU upgrade process is completed and the IRF fabric is upgraded to the new version.
If necessary, execute the following command after the execution of the issu load, issu run switchover, or
issu accept command to perform version rollback:
[IRF] issu rollback chassis 2
