TURNING THE ALARM ON AND OFF
The Alarm can be turned ON by a short press on the ALARM button. The
buzzer beeps and the ALARM symbol, the < or > symbol and the pro-
grammed setpoint value is then displayed on the digital setpoint display.
The Alarm can be turned OFF by a second short press (and one beep) on
the ALARM button. The ALARM symbol, the < or > symbol and the alarm
setpoint will disappear.
Note: If you are in insulation measurement mode, the setpoint is indicated
in negative on the bargraph. This means that if the measurement is lower
than the setpoint, the segment corresponding to the setpoint is lit, if the
measurement is higher than the setpoint, the segment is not lit and if the
measurement is equal to the setpoint, the segment flashes.
If the REL function is on and you activate a setpoint, it will apply to the
absolute value of the value displayed.
TRIGGERING OF THE ALARM
Examples in insulation measurement:
If an upper setpoint of 100MΩ is active, the display indicates
"ALARM > 100.0MΩ".
If the measurement exceeds this value, a continuous beep will be
triggered and the whole digital threshold display will flash.
If a lower setpoint of 100MΩ is active, the display indicates
"ALARM < 100.0MΩ".
If the measurement falls below this value, a continuous beep will
be triggered and the whole digital threshold display will flash.
