T he RS-485 serial communication is based on the protocol in 11 APPENDIX A: RS-485
SERIAL COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL at page 37.
Note that in order to connect the RS-485 of the unit to the RS-232 interface of a PC an adequate
RS-485/RS-232 adapter should be used.
