Support the crankshaft bearings on a V-block and
measure the runout using a gauge.
NOTE:
Coat the bearing and connecting rod big end with
engine oil before installation.
Service limit: 0.050mm
Measure the connecting rod small end I.D.
Connecting rod small end I.D.
Service limit: ∮15.08mm
CRANKSHAFT BEARING
INSPECTION
Spin the crankshaft bearing by hand and check for
play. The bearing must be replaced if it is noisy or
has excessive play.
