Adjusting the front fork
The front fork used on this motorcycle has rebound
(return), compression and spring preload adjustment.
Adjustment is done by external screw adjusters:
1) for rebound damping (Fig. 197);
2) for inner spring preload (Fig. 197);
3) for compression damping (Fig. 198).
Put the motorcycle on the side stand and make sure
it is stable. Turn adjuster (1) at the top end of each
fork leg with a flat-blade screwdriver to adjust
rebound.
