Adjusting the front fork

The front fork used on this motorcycle has rebound
(return), compression and spring preload
adjustment.
Adjustment is done by external screw adjusters:
1)
for rebound adjustment;
2) to adjust the preload of the inner springs;
3)
to adjust the compression damping.
Position the motorcycle on its side stand so that it is
stable.
Turn adjuster (1) at the top end of the RH fork leg
with a suitable screwdriver to adjust rebound.
Turn adjuster (3) at the top end of the LH fork leg
with a suitable screwdriver to adjust compression.
By turning adjuster screws (1) and (3) you will hear
some clicks; each click corresponds to a damping
setting. The stiffest damping setting is obtained
with the adjuster turned fully clockwise to the "0"
position.
By turning counter clockwise starting from this
position, count the clicks that will correspond to
positions "1", "2" etc.
