(Fixed in SW 1.0.1) Faults Disappear After SP Reset (CR
6928998)
Resetting the SP clears information about faults, but does not remove the actual faults.
Workaround
Before you reset the SP, enter the show faulty command and save the output to retain a record
about existing faults.
(Fixed in SW 1.0.1) Clearing a Power Supply Unit (PSU)
Fault Erases Other Fault Information (CR 6933348 and CR
6939306)
When the service processor clears a power supply fault, it also erases other fault records. This
might happen:
When you hotswap a power supply. However, you can preserve the information by creating
copies of the other faults.
Occasionally a power supply fault clears itself. When this happens, the information about
other faults might be lost.
Workaround
Perform this procedure before hotswapping a power supply.
1. Save your fault information immediately when you see a power fault, and before hot
swapping a power supply.
(Fixed in SW 1.0.1) pciflash Is Not Available (CR 6867060
and CR 6904922)
The command pciflash is not available. As a result, the command ipmiflash —l pci does not
work either.
In the web interface, this information is located in the Fault Management tab.
