SW 1.7
Bug ID 16868222
If your server is equipped with a Sun Storage 8-Port 6Gbps SAS-2 PCIe HBA (Internal), before
upgrading from SW 1.3 to SW 1.6 or SW 1.7 you must first upgrade the firmware on your Sun
Storage 8-Port 6Gbps SAS-2 PCIe HBA (Internal) to version 11.05.02.00 or newer.
Otherwise the server repeatedly reboots shortly after initializing the Sun Storage 8-Port 6Gbps
SAS-2 PCIe HBA (Internal).
Affected Hardware:
Sun Fire X4170 M2 Server
■
Sun Fire X4270 M2 Server
■
Workaround:
Upgrade the firmware on your Sun Storage 8-Port 6Gbps SAS-2 PCIe HBA (Internal) to
version 11.05.02.00 or newer before updating to SW 1.6 or SW 1.7.
