Name Correction for Oracle Integrated Lights Out
Manager
The Oracle Integrated Lights out Manager (Oracle ILOM) might be referred to as the Sun
Integrated Lights Out Manager in some documents and screen displays.
Front Mounting Bracket Illustration from
Installation Guide is Incorrect
A figure in How to Install the Rack Mounting Hardware in a Round-Hole Rack in Sun Fire
X4800 Server Installation Guide is incorrect. It shows the screws for installing the front
mounting bracket in a threaded rack incorrectly being inserted from the front of the rack.
Instead, the screws should be inserted from the back of the rack.
The following figure shows the front mounting brackets for both square-hole racks (1) and for
threaded racks (2). In the Installation Guide and in this figure, (1) is correct and unchanged.
However, in the Installation Guide, (2) is incorrect. The following figure shows (2) correctly.
