Using the Dashboard Alerts Option

To use the navigation panel to display the current number of system alerts:
1 Click Dashboard Alerts in the navigation panel.
The Alerts page is displayed.
2 View the list of system alerts grouped by index number, timestamp, and a
brief description of the alert message.

Monitoring System Events

There are two methods for displaying the current state of system events and
monitoring system event status:
Using the Dashboard page (to access the Events page via the Number of
Events hyperlink)
Using Dashboard Events (to access the Events page from the
navigation panel)

Using the Dashboard Page

To use the Dashboard page to display the current number of system events:
1 Click Dashboard.
The Dashboard page is displayed and provides the Number of Events
hyperlink in the System Status bar (for example, Number of Events 1).
2 Click Number of Events hyperlink (in this example, 1) to display the
Events page.
3 View the list of system events grouped by index number, severity,
timestamp, and a brief description of the event.
NOTE:
This method is convenient when you are already at the Dashboard
page and want to display more information about System Events.

Using the Dashboard Events Option

To use the navigation panel to display the current number of system events:
1 Click Dashboard Events.
The Events page is displayed.
