NOTE:
The DR4000 system always commits writes to NVRAM first before
committing any changes to disk.
Map root to: pane—to select the user level you want mapped to this

container, select an option from the Map root to pull-down list:
nobody (represents a user on the system without root access
permissions)
root (represents a remote user with root access to read, write, and
access files on the system)
administrator (represents the system administrator)
NOTE:
The DR4000 system administrator that manages the DR4000 system has
a different set of privileges than does the CIFS administrator user. Only the
DR4000 system administrator can change the password for the CIFS
administrator user. To change the password that allows access for the CIFS
administrator user, use the authenticate --set --user administrator commands.

5 To use CIFS, select Enable CIFS in the CIFS pane.
This allows the use of CIFS to backup Microsoft (MS) Windows clients.
NOTE:
If you select Open Access in the Client Access: pane, the Add clients
(IP or FQDN Hostname) and Clients panes are hidden and you cannot create
or modify the CIFS client IP or FQDN Hostnames.
Client Access: pane—to define the new CIFS client(s) that can access the
CIFS container, type in the IP address (or its FQDN hostname) in the Add
clients (IP or FQDN Hostname) text box, and click Add.
To delete an existing client from the list of CIFS clients, click to
select the IP address (or hostname) of the client you want to
delete, and click Remove.
To select open access for all clients to access the CIFS container
you are creating, select Open Access (all clients have access).
When you select this setting, this action removes the Add client
(IP or FQDN Hostname) and Clients text boxes.
6 Click Modify this Container (or click Cancel to display the Container
Summary page).
The Successfully updated container dialog is displayed.
