2 Click Select to identify the container in the list that you want to modify,
and click Edit.
The Edit Container dialog is displayed.
3 Modify the network protocol for your containers as needed. Containers
support NFS-only, CIFS-only, or a combination of both NFS and CIFS
network protocols.
If you want to select the NFS-only mode, continue to step 4 and then
complete step 6.
If you want to select the CIFS-only mode, skip to step 5 and complete
step 6.
If you want to select both NFS and CIFS modes, complete all steps in
this procedure.
4 To use NFS, select Enable NFS in the NFS pane.
NOTE:
If you select Open Access in the Client Access: pane, the Add clients
(IP or FQDN Hostname) and Clients panes are hidden and you cannot create
or modify the Add client (IP or FQDN Hostname) or Clients options.
Client Access: pane—to define a new NFS client(s) that can access
a
the NFS container, type in the client IP address (or its FQDN
hostname) in Add client (IP or FQDN Hostname) text box, and click
Add.
To delete an existing client from the list of NFS clients, click to
select the IP address (hostname) of the client that you want to
delete, and click Remove.
To allow open access for all clients to the NFS container you
created, select Open Access (all clients have access).
When you select this setting, this action removes the Add client
(IP or FQDN Hostname) and Clients text boxes.
NFS Options: pane—to define NFS options to use for clients, in the

rw (allows read-write access)
ro (allows read-only access)
insecure (allows for replies being made to requests before the
changes in the request are committed to disk)
