Consequently, interfaces using a standard frame size and those using the
jumbo frame size should not be in the same subnet. To reduce the chance
of interoperability issues, network interface cards capable of jumbo frames
require specific configurations to use jumbo frames.
To verify that the destination system can support a specific frame size, use
the following DR4000 system CLI commands:
network --ping --destination <

6 In MTU, type the value you want to set as the maximum.
NOTE:
When setting or changing the MTU value, make sure that you verify
that the Ethernet network switch is capable of supporting an MTU size that is
equal to or larger than the value you are setting. Any mismatch in MTU values
between the clients, Ethernet network switch, and the DR4000 system will
make it inoperable.
7 Click Submit to configure the MTU option for your system (or click
Cancel to display the Networking page).
The Updated MTU dialog is displayed when the selection is successful.
8 To change the current Hostname, click Edit Hostname on the options bar.
The Edit Hostname dialog is displayed.
9 Type a host name in Hostname using any of the supported character types:
Alphabetic—allows A-Z, a-z, or a combination of upper and lower case
alphabetic characters.
Numeric—allows numerals zero (0) through 9.
Special characters—allows dash (-).
10 Click Submit to configure the hostname for your system (or click Cancel
to display the Networking page).
The Updated Hostname dialog is displayed when the selection is
successful.
11 To change the current IP address settings, click Edit IP Address on the
options bar.
The Edit IP Address dialog is displayed.
