WARNING:
Before use, clean the measuring probe
by wiping it with an alcohol swab. Failure
to do so could result in the spread of
infection or infant injury.
2. Using medicinal alcohol and a soft
cloth, clean the measuring probe.
3. Set the Power switch to the On
position. The measured value for a
single measurement, n-1, appears on the
display.
4. Ensure that the Ready lamp illuminates.
5. If the battery indicator blinks, charge the
battery (see "Charging the Battery" on
page 4-1).
