Configuration procedure

1.
Configure the Transit switch:
# Configure the switch to operate in advanced mode. (Skip this step if the switch is operating in
advanced mode.)
<Transit> system-view
[Transit] system-working-mode advance
Do you want to change the system working mode? [Y/N]:y
The system working mode is changed, please save the configuration and reboot the
system to make it effective.
# Save the configuration.
[Transit] save
The current configuration will be written to the device. Are you sure? [Y/N]:y
Please input the file name(*.cfg)[flash:/startup.cfg]
(To leave the existing filename unchanged, press the enter key):
Validating file. Please wait...
Saved the current configuration to mainboard device successfully.
[Transit] quit
# Reboot the switch.
<Transit> reboot
Start to check configuration with next startup configuration file, please
wait.........DONE!

# Configure the switch to operate in Transit mode.

[Transit] fcoe-mode transit
# Enable FIP snooping for VLAN 10.
[Transit] vlan 10
[Transit-vlan10] fip-snooping enable
# Configure an FC-MAP value of 0x0EFC01 for VLAN 10.
[Transit-vlan10] fip-snooping fc-map 0efc01
