The symbol with the arrows is shown to the left of the Pitot Target value. This value can be moved up or
down by 1 knot, using the arrow keys. When jogging is completed, return to the Profile by pressing CLR.
Similarly, the other target values can also be jogged while running the profile.
This feature is especially helpful for making small changes to the target values to check over-speed
warnings, altitude alerters, exact switching points for encoders and transponders etc., without leaving the
profile.
At this point, you can either continue running the profile or exit out of it by pressing CANC.
3.10.5

LOAD PROFILE

Profiles are loaded from a PC through the RS232 interface connector on the top panel of the 6300. A serial
cable and a USB-to-Serial converter are included with the unit. A profile is loaded from the PC using
Hyperterminal (see Section 4 for details). Before loading profiles, the 6300 needs to be setup to accept the
profiles. This is done by selecting '5' on the Functions menu. Then the Lower screen will appear as
shown below.
Stay in this screen and load one or more profiles. When loading is completed, press GO. You can exit at
any time without loading profiles by pressing GO.

HEIGHT CORRECTION

Note: The Height correction is always reset to zero on power-up.
If the Static ports on the aircraft are significantly higher than the location of the 6300 during testing, it
may be necessary to correct for this difference in height. This is done using the 'Height Correction'
function by selecting '6' on the Functions menu. The following screen will appear
When a valid value (say '20') is entered, the following screen appears.
