4.4 Virtual LAN Routing Commands

This chapter provides a detailed explanation of the Virtual LAN Routing commands. The commands are
divided by functionality into the following different groups:
Show commands are used to display switch settings, statistics and other information.
Configuration Commands are used to configure features and options of the switch. For every con-
figuration command there is a show command that will display the configuration setting.
Copy commands are used to transfer configuration and informational files to and from the switch.
4.4.1 vlan routing
This command creates routing on a VLAN. The

This command displays the VLAN routing information for all VLANs with routing enabled in the
system.

Displays the advertise mode which indicates whether router discovery is enabled or
disabled on this interface.
Displays the maximum advertise interval which is the maximum time allowed
between sending router advertisements from the interface in seconds.
Displays the minimum advertise interval which is the minimum time allowed
between sending router advertisements from the interface in seconds.
Displays advertise lifetime which is the value of the lifetime field of the router adver-
tisement sent from the interface in seconds.
Displays the preference of the address as a default router address, relative to other
router addresses on the same subnet.
