Power unit diagnostic

Starting up the power unit manually
The green status LED on the re-sync unit lights up continuous in case the power unit operates normal. In case the green status LED
doesn't light up doesn't mean by default that the power unit is malfunctioning.
To determine the cause of a malfunction ILite tile it can be very interesting to exclude the possibility of a bad power unit. Normally
the power unit receives a 'START' signal from the re-sync unit. When this signal does not reach the power unit, because for example
a malfunction re-sync unit, the power unit does not start up. If the power unit starts up manually, the cause of the malfunction ILite
tile is not located on the power unit.
Necessary tools
Torx T20 (for recent version of ILite tile).
7 mm nut driver (for earlier version of ILite tile).
Necessary parts
Jumper link.
How to start up the power unit manually ?
1. Remove the ILite cover.
2. Place a jumper link upon connector J10 (ENABLE TRIAC) of the power unit.

3. Power up the power unit by reconnecting the power cord. Ensure the power source is energized.
4. Determine the good or bad operation of the power unit. In case the fan starts turning continuously indicates that the power unit
function normally. Ensure that the wire unit of the fan is plugged in.
5. Unplug the power cord from the power unit.
6. Remove the jumper link from connector J10.
Caution:
Never install an ILite tile permanently with a jumper link on connector J10.
7. Reinstall the ILite cover.
