If you activate the energy efficient ECO mode the time before the backlit display
is dimmed is shortened, also the time for the automatic shutdown of the screen
is reduced. This is recommended when operating this measuring instrument with
batteries, the ECO mode lengthens the operating time of this instrument.

Select the ECO mode

– Press the ON / OFF key
=> The standard menu will appear on
the screen
Press the u key to select the Setup
–
menu
– With the q key, select the ECO mode
– Press 4 to confirm
– With the q p keys select the required
Modus
– Press 4 to confirm or press Ó to
cancel selection
– To exit the input menu, press the ON /
OFF key.
