Configuring a Layer 2 aggregate interface

Most of the configurations that can be performed on Layer 2 Ethernet interfaces can also be performed
on Layer 2 aggregate interfaces.

Configuring the description of a Layer 2 aggregate interface

You can configure the description of an aggregate interface for administration purposes such as
describing the purpose of the interface.
To configure the description of a Layer 2 aggregate interface:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter Layer 2 aggregate
interface view.
3.
Configure the
description of the
aggregate interface.

Specifying ignored VLANs on a Layer 2 aggregate interface

By default, to become Selected ports, the member ports must have the same VLAN permit state and
VLAN tagging mode as the corresponding Layer 2 aggregate interface.
