To accommodate other manufacturers meters, Hach offers the free-flowing reference
electrode system without an internal preamplifier. A shielded cable is connected directly to
the reference and pH sensing half cell and can be terminated with a connector which is
compatible with the existing meter. No temperature measuring device is included with the
system, and must be supplied by the meter manufacturer if temperature compensated pH
measurement is desired.
Included in the system are the pH electrode and sensor (in flat or round bulb
configuration), electrolyte pump, electrolyte, and the manual. Flow cells must be ordered
separately. Setup, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures found in the manual apply
to electrodes without preamps as well.
