3. STI:
Remove the coolant filler tank cap.
NOTE
The cap (without tabs) on top of the
radiator does not need to be removed.
To add coolant, remove the cap (with
tabs) on the coolant filler tank on top of
the engine.
Except STI:
Remove the radiator cap.
4. Slowly pour coolant and refill up to just
below the filler neck as shown in the
following illustration. Do not pour the
coolant too quickly, as this may lead to
insufficient air bleeding and trapped air in
the system.

5. Pour coolant in the reservoir until it
reaches the FULL level mark.
Maintenance and service/Cooling system
6. Reinstall the coolant filler tank cap
(STI), radiator cap (except STI) and
reservoir cap. At this time, check that the
rubber gaskets inside the radiator cap are
in the proper position.
CAUTION
. Be careful not to spill engine
coolant when adding it. If coolant
touches the exhaust pipe, it may
cause a bad smell, smoke, and/or
a fire. If engine coolant gets on
the exhaust pipe, be sure to wipe
it off.
