service
Drain
fuel frrjm both the fuef strainer

daily,
to remove
sediment
and water.

Provide
a container
for catching
drained
fuel.

Open drain valves

from each filter.

valves.
Do not over-tighten.

in a container
of clean
fuel oil and
allow
it to
soak while
removing
old element.

Provide
container
for catching
fuel oil.

With
engine
STOPPED,
open drain
valve

9) and allow
filter
to drain.
NOTE:
The filter
will
drain
more freely
if the cover bolt
is
loosened
slightly.
(d)
Support the shell
and unscrew the cover bolt.
(e)
Remove shell,
element,
and gasket
as an assembly.
