Start the stud threads
into the base while
holding
the shell
in position.
Tighten
stud carefully
to prevent
damage
to the gasket
and/or
stud threads.
Torque stud to 50-60
foot-pods
(68 - 81 Nom).

the oil change
and filter

operations,

the shell-to-gasket
joint
for possible
oil
leak.
