Satellite Frequency Data Changed
If some channels work, while one or more other channels do not,
the selected satellite's frequency data may have changed. To
update this frequency data, refer to "Updating Satellite Frequency
Data" on page 88.
Incorrect or Loose RF Connectors
As part of preventive maintenance (described in Section 5,
"Maintenance" on page 101) KVH recommends checking the
antenna unit's cable connections. A loose RF connector can
reduce the signal quality. In addition, if you are unable to switch
to the other programmed satellite using your IRD remote, make
sure that your IRD's RF cable is connected to the antenna
baseplate connector labeled "RF1" (see "Connecting the Antenna
RF Cable(s) to the IRD" on page 26).
Type of Multiswitch Used
An active multiswitch must always be used to connect the
TracVision G6 system to multiple IRDs. Refer to "Connecting the
Antenna RF Cable(s)" on page 26 for directions on proper
multiswitch/multiple IRD cabling.
