attached to an e-mail message,
when sending scan data as an E-
mail attachment.

This function is used to specify the
DEFAULT
7 default subject line, when sending

scan data as an e-mail attachment.
Purpose Setting Details/Precautions
• The default setting is "OFF".
ON
• ON:
If ON is selected, the follow-
ing text is inserted in the e-
mail message.
Image data (TIFF format) has
been attached to the E-mail.
We recommend you use a
program like "Imaging for
Windows" to view the file.
• OFF:
If OFF is selected, a blank e-
mail message will be sent.
Up to 20 characters can be
entered for the default subject.
