5. Slide the governor assembly away from the speedom-
eter drive adapter end until the shaft is free of bear-
ing. This will allow the governor assembly to
be
removed from the regulator. For further disassembly
of governor, see Fig. 15-1 8.
6. Remove four screws (2 internal, 2 external) holding
the valve body and magnet assembly. Remove valve

body and magnet assembly from the regulator hous-
ing. (Fig. 15-23).
7. Remove driven gear from regulator by pressing re-
taining pin out of regulator body.
