FIRST START-UP
To avoid the overload alarm, before starting the UPS unit, check if the total value of
rated powers of the devices to be connected (receivers) does not exceed the load
power value of the UPS unit. Next do the following:
1. Check the correctness of the UPS unit installation.
2. Check if the internal batteries are connected.
3. If battery packs (optional) are installed, check if they are connected to the UPS
unit.
4. Set the power supply line protection (not included in the set) in the "I" (on)
position. The display of the UPS unit will turn on and a "Welcome" message will
appear.
5. Check if the UPS unit enters the bypass mode.
6. Hold the button of the front panel for at least 3 seconds. The
flashing on the display of the UPS unit.
7. Ensure no active alarms or messages are displayed on the screen. Before
continuing, confirm all active alarms. See chapter: TROUBLESHOOTING.
8. Check, if the UPS unit operates in the normal mode and if the connected devices
are powered.
9. If optional battery packs are installed, set the proper number of battery packs
installed.

11. It is recommended to set date and time in the online unit.
12. During start-up the UPS unit sets the frequency of the system according to the
output frequency (default automatic frequency detection). After performing the
start-up the automatic detection remains off until manual activation by setting the
output frequency.
13. During start-up the automatic detection of input voltage is off by default. After the
manual activation by setting the output frequency, at the next start-up the UPS
unit, sets the output voltage in accordance to the linear input voltage. After
performing the next start-up the automatic detection remains off until manual
activation by setting the output frequency.
14. After installing the optional external REPO breaker test it in the following way:
