Mount objectives marked "LU", universal quintuple nosepiece, polarizer or motorized quintuple nosepiece, polarizer, analyzer, and

Focus on the sample with bright-field microscopy. (p.17)

Set the microscope for DIC microscopy.

sensitive DIC.
