10 Reading conditions, display parameters, and other settings
10.1 Reading conditions explained
File Name
Enter the name of a file to save image data. This field is mandatory in order to start
reading a sample.
Note:
Comment
Enter an optional comment. The comment is embedded in the file where the image is
saved, and can be viewed with the analyzing software.
Method
Set the method to use in the scan.
In fluorescent mode, up to 4 scans can be performed in a row, all with individual methods.
PMT

The method name is automatically added to the specified name and is
saved to a file.
From the pull-down menu, select the method that
corresponds with the sample. The selected laser
and filter combination is displayed below the
menu.
You may set the voltage to be applied to the pho-
to-multiplier tube (PMT) as an integral value within
the predetermined range. The larger the value is,
the higher the sensitivity.
