7-1 Changing the Scene to Change the Line Process

What Are Scenes?
With an FQ Sensor, the inspection items that can be processed at the same time are registered as scenes. A
command input from an external device or a touch panel operation can be used to select a certain scene.
If a scene is registered for each type of measurement object or inspection, the line process can be changed
simply by changing the scene when the measurement object or inspection changes. A maximum of 32 screens
can be created.
Example:
Line Process Changes:
Scene 0
Inspection for
product A
• Settings Included with Scenes
The following settings are changed when the scene is changed: Camera image ([Image] Tab Page) and
Inspection Items ([Inspect] Tab Page). The settings related to external I/O specifications that are included in
the output settings and the system settings for the overall Sensor are used for all of the scenes.
