Hold the latches on the left and right
sides of the new cartridge and
attach the cartridge to the unit.
Firmly press down on the center (round indentation)
of the cartridge.
• If not pushed in entirely, the cartridge will be
loose, which may result in staples not being fed.

Return the unit to its original
position.

Close the cover.
Replacing the Staple Cartridge (Face
Down Finisher)
• The staple replacement message may appear
even if there are staples remaining. Even so,
replace the staple case anyway. The remaining
staples can be used.

Open the staple cover.

Hold the handle of the staple
cartridge, and pull it toward you.

Press the area indicated by arrow a
to release the hooks and remove the
staple case.
