Troubleshooting for the Optional PS Kit

This section describes how to troubleshoot problems related to the PostScript 3 printer driver and printing.
Files saved on a USB flash drive are
not displayed on the printer.
The PDF files may have been saved to a folder
created by the GD printer driver.
PDF files saved to a folder created by the GD printer
driver are not displayed.
Save PDF files directly to the USB flash drive without
creating a folder, or save them to a folder that you
created beforehand.
It takes a long time to print when
using OS X. / Printing cannot be
performed with the current settings.
The [Collate pages] check box may have been
selected in the [Print] dialog box of the
application.
Remove the check mark from [Collate pages] before
printing.
When using OS X to print a document
with multiple pages, some pages are
printed with an incorrect paper size.
The original data may include multiple paper
sizes.
When printing original data that includes multiple
paper sizes, the paper size of the first page is used for
the remaining pages. As a result, pages that are a
different size than the first page may not be printed
properly, or part of the image may be missing.
