4.2 Settings control panel and toolbox

4.2.1 Overview buttons control panel

The display unit can be operated with the control panel. The control panel is divided in
different functional blocks. The functionality of the buttons in each block will be discussed
in detail in the following sections.

The buttons on the control panel can perform an instantaneous operation or open a
toolbox, depending on whether the button is pressed short (

Instantaneous effect
Open a toolbox with advanced settings
Functionality
Access to the display unit to upload new display firmware in an
automated way.
Allows the operator to switch the display unit on/off and set the
display unit to preset and calibrated values.
Lights up when a "fault" is detected by the display unit.
Adjusts the Background, Picture, Hue and Saturation of the dis-
played video signal.
Groups all basic functions that can be used to display the input
signal.
Keypad to enter numeric values.
Buttons to access the On Screen Display (OSD), to select items
and to call possible options. A trackball for easy pointer move-
ment.
