The period of guarantee begins on the date of transfer of risks, in the case of special systems and software on the date of commissioning, at latest 30 days after the transfer of risks. In the event of justified notice of compliant, Barco can repair the fault or provide a replacement at its own discretion within an appropriate period.
Structural & Mounting Components should be kept dry, clean, lubricated (only if recommended), coated properly, and otherwise maintained in a manner consistent with part design. BARCO products must be used in a manner consistent with their design and inspected on a routine basis for security, wear, deformation, corrosion and any other circumstances that may affect the load handling capability of the part.
1. Safety 1.2 Important Safety Instructions Instructions: • Read these instructions. • Keep these instructions. • Heed all warnings. • Follow all instructions. • IMPORTANT, plug holder clamps must be locked firmly on all display tile units and power boxes to prevent the possible ingress of fluids or solid particles.

1. Safety • High leakage current: The combination of multiple tiles in an installation results in increased levels of leakage current. In order to avoid risk of electric shock due to high leakage current, proper grounding of the installation is required. •...
Support structures The design of the support structure (and housing) for the SLite series must comply with several demands regarding strength, wind load, cooling, humidity, accessibility, etc. and also comply with the local regulations regarding such installations. The support struc- ture must be accessible from the rear and be provided with attachment points to attach the SLite tiles.
Page 12
Support structures must be assessed on an individual basis. Never construct a wall if there is uncertainty regarding the stability of an installation or the load holding capabilities. If there are doubts on a system’s viability, consult Barco for advise on professional rigging organizations.
A unique video processing feature enables the creation of a visual resolution quasi double the physical resolution defined by the cluster of LED’s spread on the surface of the display. Barco’s Dual Pixel Technology confers to the SLite range a picture smoothness and an enhanced resolution that delivers the ultimate in picture quality.

The Control Software is designed as a graphic user interface (GUI) and can be used to control and configure the Digitizer as well as the Barco LED Wall via a PC (e.g. XLite Toolset). Refer to the Manual of the Control Software for more information about the Control Software.
Calibration tools for the SLite mounting plates. BARCO provides mounting plates for the SLite tiles which has to be attached to the support structure. To align the mounting plates correctly, the use of calibration tools is recommended. BARCO provides two different calibration tools. One to align the mounting plates in a vertical direction and one to align in a horizontal direction.

4. Servicing 5. The person standing at the rear of the LED-wall safely disconnects the power and data cables to the tile, or if image displaying may not be interrupted, remove the complete connection module by releasing the four bolts of the connection module (hot swap). 5. Maintenance 5. MAINTENANCE 5.1 Cleaning SLite tiles Why clean SLite tiles ? Due to outdoor use the SLite tiles are exposed to all kinds of weather conditions. Sand, dust, smog and other dirt adhere on the SLite tiles and because of that the performance of the SLite tiles is reduced. That’s why cleaning the SLite tiles is recommended at regular intervals.
