NOTE:
D Pitch case weight location is the recom­
mended location for main rotor balance
adjustments.
D Hub weight location is an alternative
location and can be used along with the
pitch case location.
D Blade number one is located above nose of
helicopter when swashplate interrupter is
above azimuth sensor. Blades number 2,
3, 4, and 5 are numbered in sequence op­
posite the direction the rotor turns.
(1). Find main rotor blade indicated by
Main Rotor Solutions Options Menu
procedure (Ref. CSP-900RMM-3,
Section 95-30-00)

(2). Find the correct quantity of weight to
add or remove.
(3). Remove nuts (5),washers (2), balance
weights (3) (if installed), screws (1), and
washers (2).
NOTE:
D No more than 8 each 900R2101024-101
or 16 each 900R2101024-103 balance
weights (approximately 218 grams) can
be installed at each hub weight location.
D Install the same quantity of balance
weights on top and bottom of hub plate.
D Change screw length as necessary when
you add or remove weights.
(4). Install balance weights, screws,
washers, and nuts. Torque nuts 20-25
in-lb (2.26-2.82 Nwm) and safety
screws with lockwire (C702).
